Hagen Group is the world’s largest multi-national pet product manufacturer and distributor. They became a Plytix client in 2024, so we spoke to Arash Shahreva, Director of Systems & Process Improvement, to find out how Plytix had helped them maintain brand consistency and speed up product launches.

Before Plytix, tracking down product information was becoming a bottleneck

“Our main obstacle was our own product information,” Arash told us. “Everything—prices, descriptions, translations, and brand-specific messaging—lived in spreadsheets. To make matters worse, each team worked off its own version of the spreadsheets, so we kept finding duplicated content and errors.”

When it came to adding their product content to their website and sales channels (like Shopify), there was no easy way to find the right product information for each brand, language, or sales channel. The same was true when it came to creating product data sheets and catalogs: “Finding the right product information took so long that creating our marketing resources was always delayed.”
